‘아이고 대고 어허 흥- 성화가 났네’라는 후렴에서 기원한 흥타령은 전라도 지역에서 부르는 남도민요로 그리움을 주제로 한 서정적인 노랫말에 마음을 빼앗긴 소울소스 멤버들이 중모리장단을 6박(2.4)으로 연주했다. 애절한 그리움을 담담하지만 힘있게 표현한 김율희의 소리가 일품인 도입부를 지나 봄의 대지처럼 소생하듯 전개되는 소울소스의 사운드에 그리움은 다채로운 색으로 물들어간다
